Now in its 7th year the Festival of Flowers is an event designed to immerse visitors in a visual and sensory experience they will never forget. This event provides stunning viewing and a hands on experience for all visitors.
There are over 250,000 annuals planted throughout Hunter Valley Gardens along with fabulous entertainment, activities, attractions, demonstrations, talks, tours and workshops.

TOTEMS – Daily
Totems or ceremonial poles depict a story that unfolds before your eyes, bringing the ancient culture of the Wanaruah people to life in todays modern world. Visitors will be shown how to recognize and read the symbols depicted on each totem and negotiate their way around the Art installation.

Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 11:15am, 11:45am, 1:30pm
Discover how some of the Floral Art works have been made while picking up a few new skills in creating a magnificent art work along the way.
Visual Art Demonstration
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 11:15am, 11:45am, 1:30pm
Come learn to draw with Adrienne Crouch. She will teach you how to start Botanical Drawings and giving you helpful tips.

Cooking Demonstration
Every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday at 10:45am Louise Jamieson from Taste of the Country will temp your taste buds with Country Style Home Cooking with the recipes and demonstrations utilizing fresh produce of the Gardens and the Valley.
Dixieland Jazz Band
Every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am – 2:30pm
The Dixieland Jazz Band will be roaming through the Gardens for your entertainment.
Florist's Showcase
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
6 local Florist's will be exhibiting new innovative natural stem hand held Bridal Bouquet and matching table arrangements with each week having a different theme.

Haute Couture Mad Hatters Display
Shanz Creations will astound you with their incredible Spring Hat Collection which will be on display in the Entry Hall Daily. Hanging Baskets Display Schools and Local Businesses are invited to make their own hanging baskets design on display at Hunter Valley Gardens throughout this years Spring Festival of Flowers.
Wheelbarrow Competition
Come in and Judge the best of 25 Wheelbarrow displays created by Hunter Valley Gardens Team.
